Hi my names Louise, I have two young children & We love getting out and about on walks with our dog. I have worked in care for the past 12 years and am passionate about caring and helping others especially in there own homes making care so much more personalised. I am respectful and reliable. I have experience working in a care home setting, hospital setting and Home carer work. I love getting to know different people and hearing there life stories over a cup of tea once all the work is done!
As a Carer I am experienced in Personal Care - Helping people with their personal hygiene including showering, bathing, dental hygiene, catheter & stoma care.
Meal Preparation - Supporting people to make meals or preparing meals for them.
Medication Help by helping people with medication by taking it from packets for them or reminding them to take it or by helping with the application of prescribed creams, and keeping medication records.
I can help with small household tasks such as washing up, cleaning kitchen surfaces, emptying bins, changing bedding and general tidying.
I can help people to continue with their social activities by driving people to events & supporting them during an activity and take them home again.
